goes to Private Lounge....a 2 CD set package nicely in blue. Cover art shows an expensive looking leather couch. I'm listening to it right now, and I guess this album will definitely grow on you after repeated late night smoky evenings at home or while driving.

And yes...United Future Organisation is performing at Fort Canning on Nov 10th! I never could believe that the local promoters are taking an interest in them. It's happening from 9 p.m. till 3 a.m and tix are priced at $45. Incognito as well as other bands are performing. It's gonna be fun!

I've been finding things lately. Found another pack of cigarettes in the bus the other day. It's an open pack, and it's from Malaysia, so I don't feel that guilty taking, smoking and throwing it away after a few puffs. Malaysian Marlboro sucks!

And just today, inside a cab, I found a motorcycle key. For an Aprilla bike. And I still looked around the seat fro other stuffs I might find.I passed the cab driver the keys because it's of no use to me. Even if the license plate is written on the key and I accidentally found the bike parked somewhere, I don't think I wanna steal the bike.

Just because I dun think I look good in helmets. Heh!

Happily paid for a new MD player last week...after my economic impotence, heh. Got it from this guy who runs this mail order service. What he does is import all the cool MD players and recorders not available on the local market for you. See all his range at his site. The only downside is since Japan uses 110V, you just need to buy an $8 adapter from him and you're all set. It comes with a 1 year warranty too. If you wanna buy, give hime a buzz, he'll need a $50 deposit and wait for about 4 days for your new gizmo to be shipped. It's that simple.

Hop into a cab today and found not one, but two packs of unopened cigarettes. Dumped my bag on top of the cigarettes and started making small talk with the driver. He's a Malay guy and unfortunately started talking about religion. And I did feel guilty about taking the cigarettes. Yeah, but for only one brief moment.

Thanks Superlover! It's been a hectic week allright, but it's been fun. The office manager gave me a red (corporate colour) toolbox on my first day. Inside, there's a welcome note from my CD, and a complete set of stationaries...pens, pencils, penknife, stapler, post-it notes....no need to steal anymore. haha

Just got an offer from O&M. Went to their spanking new office today and was happy to see that they have a really nice coffee maker. Not those drip kind, but the machine brewed kind. That's the pulling factor why I choose to work with them. Hah! I'm starting my first day this Wednesday. It's too soon, I guess, and I need to be at the office by 9. Arrgghh. My only consolation is the freshly brewed coffee every morning.

The place is littered with nice looking furnitures; curvaceous sofas, different themed meeting rooms, running the gamut from a cathedral, 70's retro psychedelic groove, a 90's corporate boardroom, complete with Bose speakers and a giant video screen, and a lot of tables and chairs everywhere around the office where you can just sit and collaborate. Collaborating about work, I suppose, not idle chitchat.

So yeah, I'm glad to be back pumping up the economy...heheh. Hopefully the recent bombings in Afghanistan won't make the terrorists retaliate. We'll see how this drama will end. Or start.

Hey Superlover....read in your blog that cameras are installed to monitor employees movement. That sucks big time. The management should be slapped with a kitchen spatula...again and again till they admit their stupidity.
